First Time to USVI
Re: First Time to USVI
do you plan on spending each day on the water moving forward (or whatever) to your next camp site? or something else? -- i guess you could to cruz-cinammon/maho-vies--concordia-viers-cruz?--you would probably have a bit of a slog inthe passage (maybe portage over haulover? ) that last day would be a bit of a slog-depending on what kind of shape you are in-- if you want touring boats i think that arawak is your only bet (outside of a private person renting you a boat) maybe look at paddling.net for a used folding boat but transporting it with the airline regs these days might be an issue (and even used folding boats are fetching a LOT of money--it'll be a gorgeous paddle though! you might want to take off to jost for a few days and camp at ivans! easy paddle from Maho.
can't wait to hear about your travels.

Re: First Time to USVI
Anyone have plans to kayak the island solo April 17th - 24th? I'll be starting from Cruz Bay on the morning of the 18th and working clockwise around the island. Give me a shout if you're up for some paddling together, a drink on the beach, or just hanging, I'll be on my own.
