Quick Pics - Day four
BVI day!
Up early to get read for our BVI trip with Captain John at Island Roots.
We always love to see the donkeys on our way down the hill

We left from Coral Bay at 8:30AM. The ride across was a little "exciting" at times. After clearing customs (quick and painless thanks to the always prepared Captain John), we headed for the Indians.

From there it was a short trip to the caves at Norman Island. I have a fear of caves, but made up my mind to overcome it and snorkel in all of them - I did it! I even made the trip up the kinda scary passage to the cobblestone beach on the other side of the smallest cave - twice!

We worked up quite an appetite by now, so it was off to the Willy T for lunch. I had the honey stung chicken and the chicken roti (Andrew and I get two different meals and then split them) and some rum punch. Captian John chillin on the Willy T:

My friends are such dorks - that's why I love them:

After jumping off the top of the Willy T (awesome!), it was on to Sandy Cay. So gorgeous there, and the sand was so soft. We were literally the only people there - just the four of us - it was awesome.

After this, we continued on to the Soggy Dollar on Jost Van Dyke. No pictures from there, as my camera was dead at that point from so many photos and videos. Drank some painkillers, sat on the beach and people watched, and did some shopping. Then back to the boat to return to St John.
It was an amazing day, and I really can't say enough good things about Captain John and Island Roots. Such an amazing and knowledgeable guy and such a pro. We were in and out of customs super fast (way faster than the boats around us), and his knowledge of where to go, what to look for, and how best to get to snorkel spots was spot on. We will definitely be using him on every trip (this was our second time out with him)
I was so tired when we finally got back to the villa - we made a quick dinner of barbequed chicken and butter noodles, then collapsed in bed. My plan was to read for about and hour then sleep, but I didn't even make it through one page. Today is a Miss Lucy's brunch then Francis day.

Re: Quick Pics - Day four
Sounds like you and your "peeps" had a great day.
Will have to remember "Island Roots" for future trips. How was the food on the "Willy T"?
Friends, they go away then they re-appear...I believe there is Magic here.
