Loud music in Coral Bay?

HI Everyone,

We love Coral Bay, stayed there last year and returning in 2 months. We loved how quite this side of the island is but was bothered by loud music on Saturday night. Does anyone if this is still going on?

Some of the bars have live music or DJ's occasionally, but I don't think it happens on a regular basis. We stayed up the hill behind Crabby's in 2011 and loved hearing the steel pan music drifting up from Aqua Bistro one night, and reggae coming from Cases by the Sea on another night. We just sat out on the deck and enjoyed the free music. Last year we stayed in the Bordeaux area, so it was really quiet at night. We hung out at the coral bay bars every night and there was no live music or DJ's for the 10 nights we were there.

Was the music playing really late?

It is becoming more frequent (unfortunately) since the old noise ordinance "law" was cancelled (for the want of a better word) one night last week it went on til a little after midnight and it was loud

Most nights Coral Bay is fine but I am guessing twice per week now it is playing longer and louder

Last year it was Saturday night and it wasn't steel drum/reaggee/live band it was bad rap music that was just so disturbing. We're staying up the hill from Crabby's so I'm hoping it won't be to bad. Is it Friday and Saturday nights?
