Full Moon - Thursday, April 25th

Hi, everyone!

This will be our first time "on-island" during a Full Moon. Does anyone know whether or not there will be anything special happening on St. John that night??

Hey! We'll be there too! Miss Lucy's is where you want to be! They have food, music and drinks and a pretty good view of the moon! Plus with the moon full, you never know what kind of craziness is going to happen!

Hi Sue...We will be in STJ for the first time in July during a full moon. Right now we plan on going to Miss Lucy's full moon party. From everything I've read, it's pretty laid back and they have live music. I've also read about people taking sunset hikes on Ram Head trail and watching the moon rise. I would be interested to know if there are any other full moon activities.

We did the rams head sunset/full moon rise our last trip. Was a great time to hike it, since it was cooler, little more breezy.
Even though the Moon was obscurred by distant clouds as it rose. Still was a fun adventure. I'd do it again.
Certainly take a small headlamp or flashlight.

Oh my gosh that photo is gorgeous, nice job!

We enjoyed dinner at Chateau Bordeaux at moonrise. Had a wonderful dinner 2 years ago. Has it changed hands? The most recent reviews on trip advisor are mixed at best and several comments about some very rude treatment by a woman there. Anybody know the scoop?

I think me and my family are going to try to make it to the fullmoon party in March. It depends on how tired the teens are that evening. If we go I will let you know what we think.
