Airline good news

Post by psufan »

With all the bad press that the airlines get I thought I would post some good stuff for a change. We have been victims of the airlines ourselves so this was a pleasant surprise. We are traveling to St John on June 1 with our adult son. We are staying longer than he is so we have different reservations but had the same flight down out of EWR. We received notice that he was switched to a different flight (a non-stop instead of a layover in PR) but ours had not changed. So, I called United today to see if they could switch ours so we could travel together. Much to my surprise they switched us to the non-stop and flagged the reservations to note that we are traveling together. The best part is that they did not charge us the $150 change fee. So, we get to leave about an hour later and get in to STT an hour earlier than we had planned. Of course, we have to hope they don't make any other changes before then!
