massage therapist recommendations?

Post by krislbi »

Hi all,
I am considering having a therapist come to our villa for me and my friend if I can get a recommendation for a good one. Will also take into consideration spas but unless things have changed, I know there are not many spa type venues. I went to Caneel a few years back expecting a relaxing hour and heard someone's tennis lesson the entire time...grr! Any input is appreciated!
Thanks :)

Krista is the bomb, we hired her and her partner for our trip last October. They came to the villa, very professional. The best 90 minute massage ever.

Having a massage at your villa is a fabulous idea! We recommend Tammi Ross of Healing Hands Massage & Bodywork (tammirross@gmail.com). We have had Tammi's massages and she and they (her massages) are great!

We also had Barb and Cary come on our first day and give us massages on the deck at the villa. It was so wonderfully relaxing and they are delightful people. We enjoyed chatting with them about island life. We would use them again and highly recommend.

How far ahead do you need to book these?

Depends on when you are going! To get your first choice of date and time, I'd do it a few weeks out! But sometimes you can wait until you are on island and get appointments. We travel in mid/late December so we usually email Barb and Cary a month ahead! They have lots of "regulars" who book every time they come! :-)
