Best Way to Visit BVI with Kids?
Best Way to Visit BVI with Kids?
Our family is headed back to St. John this summer (3rd trip, 2nd with kids...) and we'd love to explore a bit of the BVI this time. We have two girls, ages 10 and 5 at time of travel...they love to swim, the older one snorkels and we are hoping the younger one will start trying this trip.
What would you recommend?
Charter or ferries?
Should we skip anything or definitely see something? We are always up for adventure!
Any Captains particularly patient with kids on board to help make it a great trip?
Anyone heard of a Chris Sutton who does charters?
Thanks so much for all of your help!
Just writing this post makes our 5.5 month countdown really begin!

Before making up your mind, look at http://palmtreecharters.com/. Capt. John will tailor the day to whatever and wherever you want to go. Have fun.

We are taking our 7 yo on a Palm Tree charter day next month. I'll report back.
Re: Best Way to Visit BVI with Kids?
We have been out many times with Captain John and Palm Tree Charters. We have 4 children (2 of them similar ages) and he has always been an awesome guide taking us all around the BVI's and St John. He has noodles on board too if any one needs a little assistance while out snorkeling. Even us grownups use the noodles on occasion after a long day of snorkel and bar stops.
We can't say enough about how wonderful Captain John and Sue are. Check them out at http://www.palmtreecharters.com

I also recommend Captain John and Palm Tree Charters. We have been out with him twice with our two boys. He makes it fun for the kids and takes you wherever you want to go. You can't ask for a better day on the water!
