Nothing like a little cold weather and a great St. John Video to get the vacation planning moving in high gear.

Monday afternoon - sent video link to TrvlKaren at work
Tuesday morning - 7:45 - TrvlKaren watched video
Tuesday morning - 10:30 TrvlKaren called because she was looking at plane tickets
Tuesday morning - 11:30 TrvlKaren bought plane tickets - used miles coupons so she upgraded us to first class...
Tuesday morning - 11:45 I emailed the owners of our favorite villa about availability
Tuesday afternoon - 12:15 Email from villa owners...I was penciled in
Tuesday afternoon - Check to villa owner in mail...change the pencil mark to pen!

Didn't bother looking at other places...this gets easier every year. 2 hours and all done!
I Might have to have a painkiller tonight to celebrate...

Let the countdown begin...

WOW that's impressive ! I keep scouring villas looking for one I might have missed . I keep thinking should we stay in Cruz Bay this yr. or try Coral Bay ? Too many decisions for us it takes me weeks to decide . Which villa is your to go villa HA maybe I missed it in my search ?

TrvlKaren and I have very simple needs when it comes to accommodations:
Our only requirements:
AC in bedroom
Screened in porch
Clean
Coral Bay area
Sidenote: Actually, as I think about it, these are TrvlKaren's requirements...I have no requirements and would sleep under a seagrape tree if necessary....

This will be the 4th time we have stayed at Coral Dream. We usually go for about 17 days at a time. It is perfect for us. We are not 'villa gravity' people so we don't need some of the amenities that others have on their list of requirements. Coral Dream is a small one bedroom place that also has a loft over the kitchen which would be OK for one more person. More about Coral Dream here: http://youtu.be/GakJNO_kDmA .

It also has great views of Coral Bay.
