My daughter stayed in the den off the kitchen at BRB last year and will again this year. She's only 8, though. I don't think a 20-year old would want to sleep on a hide-a-bed in a room without a real door. It's fine for a little kid but not sure about a grown up kid.

This shows there to be a door from the great room and also it says there is a door..Is it not there anymore? I will verify with the rental company.
Also, can you tell me if the door out to the garden area would feel secure? Is the garden area open to a road or is it in a secure area of the yard? Thanks for any info..
(Also what is the condition of the mattress in the sleeper? Is it decent?)

The den has doors, but they are glass...I can't remember if they are frosted or see through though. That room also does not have a/c, so keep that in mind.

The exterior door goes to a garden area that is semi-secure. When we stayed there we initially thought that you had to come through the gated front of the house to get to the "back yard" (pool, garden area by that door, etc.). But then one day the pool guy showed up, and he hadn't come through the gate, he had squeezed in along the side of the house. So it's possible to get to that garden area from the road.

I am 99% sure the glass in that door is frosted.
