Re: Oddest thing that you pack.....??
I think the oddest thing I TOOK on a plane I couldn't pack and carried on last year in my hand and got some interesting looks and comments. It was my hat for Halloween - an orange hat with a blue Margarita glass rimmed with rice too look like the salt. Then there was a loss shaker of salt over the edge. The "margarita" itself was fluffy neon green tulle overflowing the glass!
Some of flight attendants actually thought it was a wedding hat - I don't know what kind of weddings they go to! But it was fun fun fun and an ice breaker!
( PS it was part of a group Halloween costume for Jimmy Buffett's playlist- I was Margaritaville!)

I know it, I found it when I was researching ear putty, which is also for swimmers ear. I bought Mack's ear putty, ear band, and ear dryer. I used all of them everyday and was able to keep my ears dry! Google them or go to amazon.Yehguafm wrote:I never knew that this existed, but now will be bringing one on my July trip - have the same issue as both of you!Kathyva wrote:I bring an ear dryer too!!! Crazy as it sounds, when I practically live in the water on vacation, I need it to prevent swimmers ear.

Maybe not odd, as I know other forum members take the same but this trip I am taking a chef's knife and a non-stick frying pan. In my experience, both items found at villas are well beyod their useful life. I am taking cheapies and will leave them there.

The first thing that comes to mind is... MY HUSBAND!
For those of you who have met him, you'll agree that he's odd. But really...
We pack head lamps because we enjoy a few sunset hikes out to Ram Head, and it gets dark fast on the return trip. On our last trip I also packed my favorite Briana's salad dressing, because one of our island staples is fresh greens from Josephine.
