My husband and I were one of the other forumites. It was great - learned a ton. Steve is an awesome teacher.

I arranged a class for our family several years ago! We had a wonderful time and learned a lot! Definitely worth the price! We all had point and shoot type cameras and still found out lots of new tricks!

If you have any interest in photography and find yourself on St John when Steve is offering a class do yourself a favor and attend! I was fortunate enough to take his Beyond the Basics workshop this past weekend and it was wonderful. What makes for a great experience? #1 Steve is a fabulous photographer. #2 he is a great 'teacher' --clear, informative, patient, fun(ny), #3 because the workshop is small (usually around 6 people) it really is a hands-on, lots of personal attention and learn from each other experience, and #4 the settings of the workshop (Hawksnest, Trunk Bay overlook, Cinnamon ruins) are glorious. What is not to like?
