Renting an umbrella

Post by Knolmom »

[vimeo][/vimeo]does anyone know where I can rent an umbrella. DH and I have issues with the sun. When we travel with family, we have our " teen sherpa's " with us but we would be unable to schlep an umbrella, a walker and the luggage.
I am wondering if the person who rents the baby items on St John will rent us an umbrella. Does anyone recall her name and number? Thanks.

We rented from Island Baby and were happy. paid for delivery and pick up to the villa. Umbrella was a nice size and in excellent condition.

We also try to stay out of the sun as much as possible and that's why we love the beaches of STJ. You can almost always find a tree to park under and be out of the sun all day long. There is great shade at Francis, Maho, and Trunk (and I'm sure many others). Salt Pond is one place you will have a hard time finding shade. We've been to STJ 8ish times and we never leave with a sunburn because of the beautiful shade trees along the beach.
