Attaching ipad photos to topic

Need some help

Is there a way to make a post and attach photos from an ipad? I'm writing this on my ipad, but I've never tried to add photos in a post. I see below there's a tab to upload attachment. It lets me find my photo, I mark it, it shows in the field, I click add the file and I receive an invalid file name error message. I also tried to do a copy and paste but its not recognizing that either.
Any ideas?

I do not have luck with uploading directly on my first generation iPad. If you have the "Tapatalk" VIOL app you can upload easily... I did here. (Sorry, I have no VI pics today.)

Or if you have all day (not)... and if you are accessing the forum on Safari, you can send the pic by email to Flickr (or a similar site) from your iPad photos and then post here.

I'm not familiar with tapatalk, is that the app shown above to the left of the last minute rental banner?
Is it pretty self explanatory in how it works?

Toni, yes, it's pretty self-explanatory. I could figure it out. That says alot!!!

Yes that is it... for iPhone and the ipad

Pretty much... If I can do it.....

Someone may be able to tell you how to directly upload from the iPad, but the upload attachment tab does not even work for me, so you got much further than I did with that!

I teach with iPads and have my own for personal use and I do not believe there is a direct way to post pics. Through apps that have that as a feature (like Facebook) it is a breeze.

I haven't been able to figure out how to embed a photo from my computer like your big one, Iprof. It used to be easy, but there's something different now. Did I miss a post on how to do it? I used to just put [img] tags around it, but that doesn't seem to work for me now.

Using the "Upload attachment" below, I get a smaller pic.

I do not know of another way except through another site such as Flickr which did give me the larger pic... we are using BBC now. I don't see a way to insert Facebook pics into a post either... but I know little about any of this!!!

Ah ha!!! I did take this from my Facebook photos, so it is still possible to do it!
Easiest method: upload directly from computer to post through the attachment below and click on it for full size... or through Tapatalk if using iPhone or iPad... that is my opinion, anyhow.
