I was just checking..( as I often do) and this is a killer deal for anyone who can get away..$75.69 one way from Myrtle Beach,SC..and they have return trips the next week for as low as 80.00. Thats less than 160.00 for a round trip ticket..cant beat that...even if you do have to pay to check a bag...maybe someone can manage a last minute trip...

A friend of ours is looking at a deal for 166 RT from Altanta. He is crazy if he doesn't go!

Re: Heck of a Deal on Spirit
Okay, that's a good deal, even after you add in the $38 in special Spirit booking fees and unavoidable $50 or so for luggage (they charge more for carry-on than for checked luggage, so you can't get out of it that way).
I just posted some comments on Spirit in another thread which specifically mentioned my home airport. I'm weighing the ups and downs of dealing with this disagreeable little airline, and would love to hear from people who have actually flown Spirit to USVI. Was it really a cost savings even after all the extra charges? Would you do it again?
