Does this look like a 60 year old? Well, maybe it does look like it, but does this look like the way an aged adult acts????

Bottom line: I do not act my age - especially on St. John!

I'm 47 (although I have a hard time remembering or acting my age!) and my hubby is 48.

OK Rick,

Who the heck is Root Boy and what is the Grog and Tankard?
You've never heard of Root Boy Slim and his Sex Change Band? He's referred to as "The Lenny Bruce of the Blues." He is a DC area Rock legend who passed away in in 1993 from natural causes, to everyone's surprises (including his). His music was very out-there in the 1970s and was sort of pre-punk/blues meets fraternity/political satire.

Check out his Wikipedia entry. [url]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Root_Boy_Slim[url] He went to Yale and was in DKE with George W. Bush, and made it to the White House before W., on LSD after climing the fence.

He's my role model, except for the disfunctional, schizophrenic and dead thing. Well not really, but I started saying that in 1978 to shock my parents - after that unfortunate riot misunderstanding.

The Grog and (s)Tankard is a beer joint that features local music of the split-the-cover-charge variety. Before Root Boy died he was singing there for cigarett money.

Cheers, RickG

Right now, after returning from yet another wonderful float at Maho on my blue pool float...I'm about 16. BUT NO! That would put me at our kids' ages. (16,15,15 and 12).

1960 was a great year to be born. You do the math.

I'm 49, hubby is 50. But in the last year, his dad died, both our kids got married and moved out of state, we did breast cancer, and yesterday my dog died (for real. It sounds like a bad country song) So, I for one feel like about 65. Hope to at least get back to my real age on ST John. We leave day after tomorrow.

I am so sad for all the things you had to endure during this last year. And now the dog? I wish I could buy you a drink at the Beach Bar because you truly deserve it! Hang in there, STJ in only two days away.
