Cinnamon Bay Campfires

Post by Dome526 »

I went through the entire Cinnamon Bay Campground website, trying to find out if campfires are allowed. Does anyone know if you can have campfires, and if the campground sells wood? I did not see any evidence of firepits, so I am doubtful that campfires are allowed at each site.

There are charcoal grills, you can build a little fire in them --no unenclosed fires allowed.

Hi Hugo- that is good to know. I would like to be able to have a small fire in the grill, if it is allowed. I am sure I could locate small quantities of scrap wood, beachcomber wood, etc. Doesn't sound like a beach firepit is permitted at all. To me, camping includes a campfire.

Sorry fires are not allowed in the national park. that doesn't mean that people don't build them from time to time.
