another first timer

Hi All , we will be renting our first villa on the island. our group includes 4 people under 25... We figure they will want to spend some extended happy hour time at one of the bars. Question is will they be able to get a taxi back to our villa? They will not be drivers on our rental car.

Hello fellow first timer, I read that you're staying on sky top...is it sol inclination? If so, That's where we're staying too! I have read and even saw a YouTube video of how crazy it is to get up there....but it is paved. I would call the islands taxi commission and ask just to be on the safe side it's 340/ 776-8294.

I don't think you'll be able to find many cab drivers that are willing to go that far. You might want to work out a system where you take turns as designated driver (be aware that it would cost to have more drivers on your rental) or maybe some of the other forumites know cab drivers who are willing to be "on call" if you arrange it ahead of time.

pretty sure the rental companies won't even let people under 25 be on the drivers' list. i agree with Lindy that most cabs won't go out to Fish Bay... drinking games in the villa may be a great option!
