How far in advance do you need to rent a jeep?
Well there are only 9 months and 5 five days now before our trip
How far in advance should we rent a jeep? We will be going in July, so I don't know if the demand will be as high but I don't want to get stuck either. Waffling between St. John Car Rental and Courtesy because you guys have said just wonderful things about both.
Thanks Again for all your help!

Just another day for you, you and me in Paradise...

Rule of thumb is to reserve a jeep the same time you buy tickets / put the down payment on villa / condo / tent / whatever. A year out is not too soon.
(In other words now would be a good idea)

the supply of jeeps is doubling soon, with hopefully a drop in prices you may wish to wait

You could ask now, that if their prices go down, that they would honor the new lower price. If they won't agree to that, you might want to wait. I know Courtesy said their new cars were coming in the next couple of months. Since you're going in lower season, I would wait if they wouldn't guarantee to grandfather you in on the new rates.....
