Reef Bay Trail Hike Slideshow

Post by ms411 »

For my Labor Day staycation, I did the Reef Bay Trail hike again so I could record it on my favorite app. Here's the link.

Sorry. Forgot to put in the bat photos from the sugar mill. Maybe later. Maybe not.

Enjoyed your slideshow. We did the trail a couple years ago. For me it was a once in a lifetime trail. I enjoyed it but don't feel the urge to do again. Getting picked up by boat and swimming out to boat, if you wanted helped to cool you off.

I liked the trail app it is the first time I have seen that. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for posting these pics. This Nov., we are going to stay at Cinnamon Bay campground for 6 nights, and are planning to do as many ranger programs as possible. This Reef Bay Hike is on our plan of things to do. Great pics, and nice job capturing the essence of the nature of a Ranger hike!

You're so welcome everyone! Since I live on St Thomas, when I'm on hikes with visitors, I can now point out to them plants and critters along the trail thanks to the NPS.

Ha, ha! I always try to catalog some of the info in case I'm chosen as a contestant for "Survivor" or I get lost on a Caribbean trail and it takes days for them to find me. My philosophy is the more safe, edible plants you know of, the greater your chance of survival during a crisis.
