Has anyone attended the Friends of the VINP gala?

We have been members of the Friends of the Virgin Islands National Park for years back and this year, we will be on STJ at the same time as the gala.

Has anyone attended? If so, what were people wearing? I think it would be a really special event but I am concerned about attire. I don't know that we want to take super-dressy outfits along in the luggage.

I can only see the last couple of pictures and I doubt my hubby could pull off THAT look!

Oh..well it looks like "church dress" or "professional dress"...A nice dress or nice slacks and a pretty top, etc...Doesn't look black tie, etc..

The date for the Gala has been changed to February 23... major disappointment for me.

PA Girl, I hope that you will be able to attend!

And if you are on St John for 8 Tuff Miles, you may wish to consider going... run all morning and dance all night!

Well, now we (the PAs) can end that discussion as we leave the 17th. Mr. PA was all for going, I was a little hesitant because it was the night before we leave.

Is the seminar schedule posted yet?
