Is it possible?

Post by melmd »

Hello,

I am planning my 5th trip down and my 1st trip during high season so I was hoping for some help.

We want to go somewhere in late Jan, Feb, or early March to take advatage of non-stop from IAD. (yay, never flew non-stop down there).

We are budget travellers so here's my question. Does anyone know it is possible to find somewhere to stay within walking distance to Cruz Bay, 1 bedroom with a/c $200.00 per night in high season. We do not need fancy, just somehwere safe, clean, and cheap. If we can't swing this price we will wait to low season again, but that seems like so far from now.

Thanks

Harborview is $210 a night and has all of your list.
There is AC in the bedroom, walk to town, cheap, and clean.
That being said, it is not fancy. It is well equipped but it is an older unit. We have stayed there 2 times because it fits the budget perfectly. Silverheels (Marie) stays there often, in fact I think she is there right now.

We will be staying at Cruz Bay Cottages http://www.vrbo.com/386500 later this year so I can't yet give you a review but the price is right.
