Back from first trip...

Post by Nic in KC »

And I do not want to be home!! Our group of six had an amazing first trip to St. John. We'd stopped on a cruise ship day trip once before and finally made it back! I will post a full trip report as time allows. We are all really having trouble adjusting to real life. Have had many wonderful trips before and this one tops everything for everyone in our group!

We did one night on STT at BlueBeard's hotel, then the next week on STJ at Villa Capiz....Mary Beth I'll be doing a complete review, but it's AWESOME!

Met Ruth at St. John Spice and Pia happened upon our group one day and stopped to ask if we were from the forum because of our neat sheet! So glad to meet you ladies and put faces with names!

It's so hard to be home and in work clothes. My brother emailed today that he's in withdrawal from t's, shorts and flip flops. More soon!

So if you don't want to be outted as a forumite don't take the neat sheet to the beach. That is SO funny.

I look forward to the rest of your report. Coming back is always the hard part!

Now you know why we all call the walk to the ferry the "walk of Woe"

I swear I've actually teared up....

"re-entry" is the pits!! Looking forward to a full report of your wonderful first trip (of many many more, I'm sure). Time to start planning the next trip. It's the only cure for the re-entry blues. :D

Can't wait to hear all about your trip. I'm glad you enjoyed Villa Capiz. We really loved it. Something about the character that just draws you in. Of course that view and pool doesn't hurt much either. Glad you had a great time!

Welcome back!!! So sorry, the jump back into reality is a rough one.

Anxious to hear about Villa Capiz, and of course the Trip Report!

I always find the hardest thing is wearing shoes again. It's like my feet get claustrophobic being in "real" shoes.

Just start planning your next trip, it will help :)
