One of the best STJ trips ever!

Post by sea-nile »

I returend Saturday from a 10 day trip to STJ with my daughter, mother, aunts and sisters. We had a fantastic time! The sailing trip with Cloud 9 was a highlight since I got to dive and saw a goliath grouper and a spotted eagle ray. We hit all of the best beaches and went to Coral Bay twice. I have some new people hooked! Oh, and Carnival was a fun and crazy time! We saw a few fourmites. The fireworks were great. I will try to add a few pictures if I can. I did post some on facebook.

I can't wait to return with a few friends in November!

Who did you dive with? I did not know they had Goliath Groupers in St. John. I knew we had them here because we saw one off a wreck, but I have never heard of any one seeing one in StJ waters.

5 or 6 feet long and rare in STJ!

I did not get a picture of the spotted eagle ray but it was medium sized. Here is the link if you care to look at more picture. There are a lot. I need to delete and rotate some of them.
