Rattled awake about 3:45am by an earthquake.
Staying in town and we felt it pretty good. Anyone know how strong it was?

We felt it over in Coral Bay, or at least my wife did. She said the house shook and then went bang like something hit the house. Made me get up and look all over for what happened. Everything was calm weather wise, so I figured she was just dreaming. Guess I'll tell her the good news when she wakes up :)

On STT --I was awake and felt 2 distinct rolling loud good shakings - about 10 seconds apart - I made a bet with myself - 'that was a 4.5' -- having been through so many of them here but I was still amazed I was able to guess so close to the magnitude.

I first heard this distant sort of rumbling, like one of the ferries passing by. Then the big bang, like an explosion. Really shook our place @ Gallows. Then the rumble tapered off. Much stronger than the one we felt here in 6/06.

We are staying at Grande Bay and woke us both up. It was quite the rattle. Sounded and felt like a freight train ran right through our unit. I got up and observed Cruz Bay as quiet as can be at 3:45AM. Strongest one I have felt down here. On another note, the beaches were packed yesterday so Francis was the right call and it was a gorgeous day!
