For those fortunate to be on St John for Festival...

We tried to go but I couldn't find per person airfare that cost less than our mortgage payment so we called it off

We will be on the island for the first time (on honeymoon) during the festival, so if anyone has specific suggestions for what not to miss or logistics, I'd be grateful.

Woo-Hoo! This will be our first Carnival! Don't miss the parade at 11 a.m., Inner Visions at the Beach Bar at 6 p.m. July 4th and then fireworks over Cruz Bay! Soon come!

Oh and welcome to the forum Purpleiowa and congrats on your upcoming marriage and honeymoon! You picked the perfect place!

We will be there July 1 - 9 and can't wait! Definitely a beach bar forum gathering sometime that week.

This will be our first carnival time as well, will anyone be down 6/16=6/23? I just can't wait, 3 wks!
