Taxi from In Town Charlotte Amalie to Red Hook

Post by snorkelqueen »

Because I arrive pretty late and I'll be alone Im staying the night in a B&B in Charlotte Amalie. How should I go about getting a taxi to head to SJ early the next morning? Is this something the B&B people will help me with or am I on my own?? And if so...any suggestions?

Sorry "Toes" glad you pay such close attention. Hopefully this is my only major screw-up today!

See if the B&B will shuttle you downtown -then take the Charlotte Amalie ferry and skip Red Hook

I thought your question was very appropriate for this forum! I'm sure the B&B will have the contact info for many taxi's that will get you to Red Hook or CA Ferry. Have a great vacation.

Sorry "Queen" wasn't trying to be the "FORUM POLICE" I thought that since this was a question about taxis on STT and a B&B on STT that perhaps you would receive a better response if also posted on the STT forum instead of only on the StJ forum. But I see from the tremendous number of responses that you are doing just fine without my help. This post should bumb this to the top to help you find the answers you are looking for. I will refrain from helpful suggestions in the future.

Back to my life now.

Dear Toes - I can use all the help I can get. Sorry about the tone - I was having a pissy day. I apologize. And I have gotten some good info.

Not sure if you're also looking for B&B suggestions, but many recommend the Crystal Palace. I believe airport pick-up is included; so, I'm sure they would help in getting you back.

(never had the opportunity to stay)

Hi jayseadee! I AM staying at Crystal Palace. They are super nice. They are picking me up late at the airport and have now told me they will make sure I get a cab to CA or Red Hook Ferry. Great people. Ronnie is the best.
