Villa for family of three and in-laws
Villa for family of three and in-laws
Hi Everyone,
We've just returned from our first trip to STJ (will hopefully post trip report and pictures soon). We LOVED it and i'm planning a return trip for next June. I'm trying to find a villa that will work for our family of three (me, my husband, our daughter that will be three next year) and our in-laws. We'd like a 3 bedroom villa with plenty of space so that we can all enjoy our time together without being on top of each other. We love Coral bay but would be open to other locations and would like to keep budget between $2200-2500/week. Would love a great view!!
Any recommendations?

Check out Casa Tua in Coral Bay. Great location near the water. The main house has 2 bedrooms and the. Guest cottage has it's own living area and bedroom. It sits directly on the water. We went with another Couple earlier this year and it provided us with just what you mentioned. Great places to gather as a group, but also enough room that we didn't cramp each other. Pm me if you have questions.

Check into Waterlemon Villa (haven't stayed there but I like the looks and location, and I checked into it for our next trip and the owner seems very nice.) I think the BR have interior access, which was a big deal for me when my kids were younger:

Some others on my list that look nice, reasonable prices, 3 BR (but I haven't stayed at these); these all have pools so you'll need to check about the minimum age:
Sea Glass

Tree Tops http://www.vrbo.com/391688
Atla Vista http://www.destinationstjohn.com/home.p ... ta%20Vista a bit out of your range but looks beautiful; I think this is where my friends are staying next year.
Satinwood http://www.vrbo.com/70425 very reasonable, eco-friendly, Coral Bay.
You might also want to give Windspree a call. They have a number of villas in Coral Bay and can help you find one that will work well with a small child.

Here's another, Caribn Odyssey. http://www.windspree.com/home.php/13/Ca ... Odyssea%20 Windspree says "It is a secure and safe house for small children." 4BR, pool, $2520 for 5 people off season. Looks cute.
Thanks for all of the suggestions!!
Starlite looks nice but the view isn't exactly what I was going for. Really wanting to be able to walk out on deck and watch sunrise or just take in view.
Waterlemon Villa and Treetops both have an age requirement of 8yrs old. This seems to be a trend with many rentals I've seen. I understand the risks that go along with some of these houses so while it stinks I'm glad these are here so that we stay away from homes that might not be safe.
With safety in mind, we're looking to have all the bedrooms or at least two of them have interior access due to potential safety concerns with a 3yr old.
Caribn Odyssey looks really nice, has anyone stayed there?
Thanks again everyone, would love it if anyone else has suggestions to offer. I've become obsessed with finding a villa and booking it as soon as possible so I can start our countdown.

If you feel like checking out the other end of the island check out Kia Ora over Chocolate Hole. It's on
Rock Ridge road and is only about a 5 minute ride from Cruz Bay so VERY conveniently located. The villa itself is a little dated on the inside but it's got plenty of room and the set up allows for LOTS of privacy if you want it. The pool is huge which your daughter will love and the outdoor areas are very comfortable and you get a sunset view every night. If you go back to the beginning of May Creativename has a trip report and comments on the villa, but it looks like he took down his pictures. Here are my pictures from trip report last November if you want to see what the villa looks like.
