Help! Need a cheap villa/cottage!!

Post by Bonny in CA »

I had my heart set on Surf Sound, but our dates have been taken... :(

So far, there are openings for my dates at FairWinds and FOllowing Seas, Periwinkle Cottage, Little Palm Villa and Blue Wrasse.

Any more suggestions would be helpful!! I want something around $1,000 a week, preferably in or around Coral Bay.

Thank you everyone!

Also if anyone knows anything about the ones above, please share!

I just visited Periwinkle this week - it is soooo cute (providing we are talking about the same one) :)

Thank you. Does anyone know if Fairwinds is rented out separately? We would prefer to be alone, not having someone else in the other building...

I've heard and read good things about Harmony by the Pool.

my understanding is that fairwinds is not rented separately-- i asked them specifically about this when we rented it two years ago.

Has anyone had any experience with this one? "Sea Cottage"

I can't tell from the pictures exactly where it's at, it looks pretty high up on the mountain, but the price is certainly right!

Sea Cottage looks nice! Especially the view. I wonder if there's a/c in the bedroom?

Check out this STJ villa map to see where the cottage might be located.

My guess is it's up Centerline(10), right on Bordeaux Mountain Rd(108), then somewhere near Bay Forest Rd.
I've got 2 tickets to paradise~Pack your bags we'll leave tonight!

I've narrowed it down to Bambooshay or Sea Cottage, it's a $300 price difference for the 10 day period, but now I can't make up my mind!!!

Sea Cottage looks great, but I think my husband wishes it wasn't so high up on the hill!

They are both substantially less than we paid for 7 days last year! So I feel like I win either way! Anyone have anything good or bad to say about Bambooshay or Sea Cottage? I'm kind of attracted to Sea Cottage because it's so new and shiny!

I just can't wait to get a ticker going!!!

My husband and I and another couple stayed @ this place in Fish Bay just last month. We loved the house. The owners live above & run some local shops in Cruz Bay. They kept us stocked w coffee and brought us lots of goodies from their coffee shop. The house is very clean and reasonably priced. Fish Bay is just a 6-7 minute drive to Cruz Bay. would def recommend this place! i have pics as well!
