Early (7:35 a.m.) Flight from STT to SJU

Do you think we can make a 7:35 a.m. flight from STT to San Juan taking the 6:00 a.m. ferry? I think we can if we have a private taxi arranged - what do you think?

No sorry. If you are on the 6am ferry you will arrive at Red Hook at 6:20am (if you have to wait for luggage 6:25am) and even with a private taxi it will be 6:50am before you are at the airport and the requirements are you need to be at the airport 60 minutes prior to your flight and should there be a back up at Customs and Immigration and security you will miss the flight for sure (even if they let you fly being that you were not at the airport by 6:35am)

Zero chance. We've taken that flight before and hired a private water and land taxi to do it.

Hey Texas Cook! I had a 7:35 a.m. American Eagle flight from STT to SJU just rescheduled to 9:50 a.m.
I was going to stay at the Best Western Emerald Beach to make the early flight but now I think we can stay on STJ and take the 7 a.m. ferry
If you're going American Eagle, you might want to see if that early flight is still running. I've heard AA is cutting flights out of SJU during the restructuring.

I just booked my flight yesterday. I can either hope that the time will change and stay the extra night in STJ, or book at the Emerald and live with it. We've still got time - this is our December trip!

Thank you all. I knew what the answer was, but I needed to confirm. Hate to leave STJ earlier than necessary.

I looked into private water taxi, and would be cheaper to stay the night in STT.

What a great place this is!
