First week in July, still need 3 nights in Coral Bay!

Post by paulandtracie »

We can't wait to arrive on island July 1, we have already booked 5 nights at Cruz Views. We got such a great price, we could not resist, and that way we will be close to town for all of the Carnival festivities, parade and fireworks on the 4th. We are not leaving until July 9, though, so we want to head to Coral Bay for 3 nights, but we are having a hard time finding a place that will rent for 3 nights. One place wanted to charge a $300 cleaning fee--I thought to myself, "for $300 I will happily clean it!" :D

We need 2 bedrooms and since we are traveling with 2 teenage girls, 2 bathrooms would be a big plus. Any ideas for us?

Sailview will rent to you for 3 nights. The rooms are lovely and the hosts are fabulous. It's a great value. Please feel free to ask any questions. We have stayed there twice and will return early next year.

Thanks Nancy, we did try that but unfortunately we need both of their suites and one is rented for part of our stay. Very pretty place!

Looks like Periwinkle Cottage is open for those dates! Not sure they do 3 nights, but wouldn't hurt to ask! Great cottage on a private dead end cul de sac with 2 bedrooms/2 baths, pool and hot tub and VIEW!!

Thinking of Cruz views also, which unit do you think is best?

La Dolce Vida is not booked then; you could try asking Dorothy, the owner, if she'd rent to you for just 3 nights. It is right on the water and has a wonderful hot tub and deck.

cocosmom, we like #3 at Cruz Views - it has been remodeled, has a great view, and a cool huge garden shower. #7 and #10 are also remodeled and on either end of the building if you want more privacy. #1 has been totally remodeled and is now called 'Bliss' but the rates went WAY up. All the units are different so just be sure to check with whomever you are renting from before you commit.
