Who needs a car ferry?

Post by jmq »

Who needs a dam ferry? Let’s start a petition that they make these cars available in the VIs!
Think of the possibilities:
> you can drive over to JVD for the day
> you can pick up tired or lost paddleboarders, or hitchhiking snorkelers
> (add your ideas in Reply!)

When we come to place where the sea and the sky collide
Throw me over the edge and let my spirit glide

My sister and hubby sailed a boat from Punta Gorda, FL to St. John a few years ago. It was a trip she'll remember forever. They would sail at night when the seas were calmer and then sleep during the day. They pulled into C.A. in the quiet of the night and woke up to being surrounded by 4 gigantic cruise ships!!! She called me and the noise from the cruise ship happenings was so loud I could hardly hear her! LOL! They ended up at the camp ground on STJ and loved it.
