ATM in Coral Bay??

Is there an ATM in Coral Bay for when we run out of cash??

or will we need to plan ahead when we are in Cruz Bay?

I think there's one in Lily's Market, but any ATM on STJ can and will run out of money. The one in the Marketplace is your best bet, at least in my experience. Since they put that one in we've never had trouble getting cash on island.

trying to plan ahead for some of the cash only restaurants..meal for family of four will add up quickly

There is also one in Love City Mini Mart. If memory serves me it limits the amount you can withdraw (I want to say something like $150), which makes the fee relatively expensive as a percentage of the withdrawal.
