Are you back in dreary VT already? Man... there's not much I dislike more than my own vacation coming to an end, but second to that is friends' vacations coming to an end! Glad you weren't shark bait.

Oh don't get me wrong Minde - the first time I saw a shark I had the very same reaction as you!!! I was out of a bay and around a rocky point, all by myself so I had nowhere to escape and I had no choice but to deal with it or wet my pants. Since that was the biggest one I've seen so far the rest have kinda been ho-hum.... although my heart STILL skips a beat when I first spot them. My work deals with gauging risk based on statistics so I find those stats somewhat comforting....but they'd definitely go right out of my head if the shark got TOO close for comfort!

Lovermont thanks for the welcome home. It looks like a pretty dreary week up here in the northern islands. We're already planning next years' do's and not to bothers'.

...and remove bracelets, rings, and bling before going to the beach. That STJ hook looks yummy to fish with big teeth
When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.
