Is Happy Fish gone?

I seem to recall that someone here said they were closing. Did it actually happen?

it actually happened-- around the beginning of the year, I think. and everyone is bummed about it!!

now there's nowhere to get fresh sushi on St John.

the good news is, there's a new sushi place going into the same space, from the guys who run La Plancha... I believe the name will be Zero Sushi (though there was some controversy about the name so it might be changing)... in any case, I was at the Marketplace this morning so I peeked in the window of Happy Fish/Zero Sushi and it looks like there is some progress being made but no idea when they'll be ready to open.

I loved Happy Fish... the Kulchak Roll, yum.....

Rats! I was hoping that it was all a bad dream. I'm glad I invested in a Happy Fish T-shirt last time I was there. Maybe it will be a priceless antique someday. LOL!
