Holiday check ins

Out of curiosity...has anyone on the forum ever checked in to a villa on a holiday???

I was initially told a holiday check in was fine but came with an added cost (understandable, fair and fine), but now am being told that it is not ok. Just looking for some insight...thanks!

same villa company? maybe they changed policies or realized they had misquoted or couldn't find anyone to work? but if you had already rented and had an agreement then they should certainly honor it.
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>

Back in the day, If there were guests leaving on Christmas we would not allow a check in later in the day because then we would have to have someone clean on that day and well, no one wants to clean a house on Christmas day.
