Trail Bandit Map question
Trail Bandit Map question
Hi! I was looking at the Trail Bandit map online and noticed that different trails are color coded differently and that there are some other symbols on the map that I'm not seeing a Map Key for. For example, I see that the numbers cirlced in yellow are explained on the back of the map. However, I don't see a section that explains the white circled capital letters, or the smaller white oval circled numbers. Of course, I'm only looking at the maps online. Maybe there's info if you purchase the download? Just want to make sure I don't miss out on any important info.

Here is what the trail bandit says about the red lines.
"The “Other Trails” shown on the St. John Map 2010 as dashed red lines are not numbered on the printed version of the map. You can download a description of these trails from the Store section. GPS track files for these trails are available in the GPS section.

The white circles link to GPS coordinates -- only useful if you have a GPS unit with you when you hike. Then you can load his map files into the unit and use his coordinates to exactly coordinate the map to the location reading.
