Serious SJ withdrawals...

Post by PaminMaine »

We were welcomed home by 18 of freshly acquired snow. I am so missing Maho beach, riding with the windows down and sitting on the deck eatting breakfast watching the birds eat my sugar cubes. I wish I had the next trip booked already. Tried to convince hubby we should go during the summer months..

My wife and I thought we might be missing something a few years ago by only going to STJ. Well after that trip we now state we likely will only vacation in STJ.

Hard lesson learned...
(Se ya'all in about 19 months!)

Edit:
"(Se ya'll in about 19 months!)
First of all Se is "See",not another language
Second, see ticker below, and I have no friggin idea where 19 months came from... October this year=19 months huh????

Blonde moment??

I feel your pain! I've ben back 7 months . . . and no return trip planned. My hubby wants to try "other places" and tells me if I'd never been to St. John I wouldn't know what I was missing. Hmmmph! I do know what I'm missing and it's St. John!

Pam, the best way to rid yourself of the DIF or STJ withdrawals is to book your next trip. The thought of comming back and looking at your new ticker will pick you up from any lows you feel right now....Al & Deb

P.S. We'll be in Portland, Me in two weeks to celebrate our 40th anniversary. :P

I've been back for 2 weeks now, and just last night I was still telling stories about 8 Tuff to my family. My daughter asked if we're all doing it next year, and I said "Oh yeah!" DH gave me a look, so I told him he didn't have to run but he could drive us to the start. What a nice wife I am.

I am already dreaming about next year for a trip. Hubby said he wants to skip the trip next year. Might have to do with some house renovations he would like to do, we are buying a new car, he wants a new camper. Hmm, I'll have to surprise him with a stash of saved money.. maybe an Xmas gift.......hehehe
