Villa Selection Assistance
Villa Selection Assistance
I was not going to start another villa thread, but I will drive myself nuts without some help! We stayed at Cloud 9 last June and we loved the villa, but our next trip will include another couple , plus my 17 yr. son, so we may need a little more room. I will just list what I am looking for and see if you guys can give me some suggestions, based on actual experience from stays at other villas.
Trip Date- June 2013 (I try and reserve the house 1 year out)
Budget- $3500.00
Location- Prefer high sunset view, similar to Cloud 9, or close to it.
Amenities- AC in bedrooms, Pool, Nice outside deck area, Privacy in the villa and around the villa, covered outside area(Shade/Rain Protection).
Coconuts looks very nice, but the third bedroom area is in the main house, which is not air conditioned(June/Hot).
We looked at Palm villa next to Cloud 9, but the outside area has no covered area on the deck besides a table/umbrella combo. This is very important to us so we can enjoy our evenings/mornings outside, no matter what the weather is doing.
Any suggestions would be great! Just remember our budget is $3500.00.

I didn't check the rates but we stayed at Seawatch on Gifft Hill once and liked those views until we stayed at Argonauta through Vacation Vistas.
Awesome views, awesome verandah, a/c in all rooms, close to town but does not feel like it, gorgeous sunset views, pool is kind of small but we weren't there to swim laps.
We have stayed there three times now (all since Seawatch) and would be staying there on our next trip but it was booked

That was on our list, but I read a few reviews that the villa was a bit outdated and that the bedrooms had a musty smell to them. That sorta turned me off to that villa, but Im not sure if that info. is still current.vacagirl wrote:This was back in 2007 but I went with a group of 8 girls and stayed at the Hali Lani. Amazing villa, amazing views, both morning & evening. I think it is close to your price range. Check it out
Here is the one I like it is a little more for 5 people.

You should look at Sago Palms. It is $3045 per week for 5. We stayed there a year ago and it has incredible north shore views, a large outdoor covered deck, hot tub, an outdoor wet bar and laundry, and AC in all 3 bedrooms. http://www.privatehomesvi.com/sagopalms.htm#rates
