Looks like a great day on STJ to "Just Play"

Today, Monday, October 10, is the "Just Play" event of Using Sports For Social Change. This is the third year of a fun play day for the children of St John. If you are on island, stop by the Julius E Sprauve School in Cruz Bay, take a look! Some forumites are volunteering and sponsoring!

I hope everyone had a lot of fun!! This is the first year I didn't volunteer. Last year I did it 7 months pregnant, but couldn't figure out how to do it with the little guy this year. We were there in the morning and energy was high! It's so fun to watch all of the kids running around :) Thank you to everyone who helped out. I appreciate you caring about our community!!

It was truly amazing!! i had so much fun - i was the leader of the 7-8 year old group and the smiles , hugs, massages, and stories we told throughout the day are something that will last with me forever!!! If anyone wants to see pictures, they are posted on go the FB site- Using Sport for Social Change USVI!

Videos of the 2011 "Just Play" event and the 2012 "Tortola Surf Classic" have been released.

At least 6 VIOL St John Forum members (Chet, Barbara, Steve, Leslie, Dean, and Rosi) were volunteers with the "Just Play" sports events; many others supported in a variety of ways.
