Need help finding a 1 bedroom villa in cruz bay!

Post by ShaSha »

After spending 11 days in St. John for the first time we have to go back! We stayed on Coral Bay and we would like to try cruz bay for the sunsets! I am having trouble finding a 1 bedroom villa or condo. Do not care if there is a pool but would like a hot tub but could do with out! We are looking for the first two weeks in Dec. or any week in Jan or Feb. Budget is Around $1800. Would appreciate any suggestions and help. Thank- You

There are only a handful of "villas" in Cruz Bay (Amora, Gallows Point Seaview, Frank Bay House) and I believe these are 2BRs or more. Casa Blanca/Blue Marlin is a 1BR.

For condos, try:
- Gallows Point
- Lavender Hill
- Battery Hill (2BRs, but the Cottage is a studio)
- Grande Bay
- Crow's Nest (no pool)

and see others on www.VRBO.com.

Toon Man-thank you for the list because I visited friends staying at a villa and I couldn't remember the name. It was Casa Blanca-very nice 1 bedroom with a pool

1 Bedroom Villa

Sha Sha.....there is also a site called Redweek.com, you type in the caribbean area, st john, westin and it will give you a list of villas people that are trying to fill their weeks they had originally scheduled. I was really lucky last year when I went and found a 1 BDR villa for under $900 for the week and it had a pool within 50 ft from it. It cost $24.00/yr to join Redweek but well worth it if you can find a villa at the westin for that cheap. My friend and I were also thinking of Star Villas the next time if we can't find one at the Westin, the only thing is they don't have a pool but if you are like us, the beach is enough. I hope this helps you out some. Good luck!

Donald Schnell now has two 1 bedroom units available in the Amore Center and the prices look reasonable.
