US Airways making a flight change

Post by theshopper3 »

Hi,
What would the possibility be of trying to change to an earlier flight on your day of departure from STT.
There are currently still seats available on both of the new flights I want to switch to.

We currently have a flight that leaves at 5:35pm, there is another USAir flight that leaves about 2 1/2 hours earlier which would get us back home that much earlier.
Not willing to pay extra, just thought it would be nice to get in a little earlier. Should I just leave it till the day before the departure & make a call?? or try the morning of the flight or just stick with the original flight??

Thougths????

Thanks

All the airlines I fly have a flat rate of $150 change fee plus the difference in airfare - I think Delta (it might be AA) does allow for a "same day standby" for $50 per ticket. I would call them directly and find out now what their policy is.

US Air has a "Move Up" policy that will allow you to move to an earlier departure. There will be a $50 fee. Call them and ask if it would work for you.
