Are mainland drs able to call in scrips to STJ pharmacy?

Post by lark22 »

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone's encountered a situation like this ...I'm leaving early Monday am for STJ (yay!) but may be in need of a common prescription (antibiotic) to be called in to Chelsea Drug next week.

Has anyone done this before? Wish I had been able to deal with this situation yesterday when my doc was in the office, but that's just my bad luck/timing. :?

Thanks for any info!

Don't know about St John, but last year we had a presciption called in to the kmart on St Thomas. My husband had an absessed tooth so my sister called the dentist she works for and he called in the prescription. Didn't take too long to get it, maybe and hour.

Yes - Several years ago my doctor from Maryland called in a prescription to the Chelsea Drugstore for me and I picked it up a half hour later. No worries!

Yep, we've had to do it twice. The only hiccup was that Chelsea didn't accept our insurance so we had to pay in full up front and then submit it to our insurance once we got home.
Let us live so that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry.
