Day Sail

Post by ifloat »

Instead of heading over to the BVI, I was thinking of doing a charter that circles St. John and hits the snorkel spots that would require a hike or a long swim to get to.

I'd like to see Waterlemon, the mangroves, Pelican Rock for starters.

If you had all day to circle the island, what snorkel spots would you add to your itinerary, weather permitting?

We loved Lovango Charters http://lovangocharters.com/ . It's not a sail, but it is a great trip. (We are in the picture gallery :D ! Capn. Dan has the grey beard and I have the black rash guard on. Just like in our avatar picture. ) There are other great around Island sails though, Kekoa and Capt. Phil on the Wayward Sailor are great.

Another option is the Scubadu. Captain Joe knows great snorkel places to stop in and around St. John. www.sailvi.com :D
