I have gone a day or two before my husband and left afterwards. I had reservations prior to the trip, but knew I wanted to give it a shot. We had a villa in Coral Bay, so I was driving and didn't experience walking Cruz Bay, as if you were staying there.
I never felt unsafe, but I also had forum friends that I met, so when I was in Cruz Bay, we all hung out together

I've not done it - YET! I'm thinking my next trip might be a solo one and I own at Grande Bay so would clearly stay there. So convenient and I have always felt safe.
My husband is planning his first solo trip in January and I am super jealous. So if any of you single ladies are down there towards the end of January, take care of him please (in an innocent way!).
