Our 10th Anniversary!

Post by PaminMaine »

My husband has decided we are going to St John this spring for our 10th anniversary! Yippee! I stayed last spring at Samuels cottages. I am very frugal, and this worked out just fine for my daughters and I. I am curious as to where to start to look for a rental other than VRBO? I would love to stay in Cruz Bay again, within walking distance to the Beach Bar  Any suggestions where to begin my search?

We stayed at Lavender Hill in June and loved it. Great views, great pool, fullu a/c'd and easy walk to town. The best thing is that during our stay there was a 3 day widespread power outage but we never knew it because they have back up generator power. The manager is onsite should you need him and he is great. Free onsite laundry (even the detergent is free). Check them out.

A second vote for LH. Very comfortable, easy walk to town, and nice people both while booking and on island. Stayed in 7E previously and booked for 4W this spring. IMHO a good value.

You know me. Lavender Hills is my favorite. Stay every year and wouldn't change locations at all.

I like the caribbeanvilla.com website. They have a lot of rentals and their website is easy to navigate. You can sort by price and location.
