great reports and pics. so jealous of you 2. i've only seen 1 eagle ray from a distance during my 13 trips and over 100 snorkeling trips on stj. you have seen many and have the nerve to take AND POST a picture of one on a day so clear that the ray cast a shadow on the bottom. did you notice?

don't remember if you've stayed on upper rockridge before but isn't that a great location? the views, the convenience? what a great place for wining and dining in! hope to make allesandra someday, so far have had to settle for treasure ridge and temptress (now magic view) which are the 2nd and 3rd villas up hill on right past alles.

keep the reports & pics coming.

"There's something magical about that initial drive down this road each trip - it's as though you aren't just seeing the views and smelling the air, all of your senses seem to join the party."-Augie

I love this statement! I feel the same way about the North Shore Rd!

I love the pix too! I can just feel "it"!

Love reading your reports and especially the pictures. The spotted Eagle Ray is a great picture and a reason for us to get back soon for a second trip. Where have you seen the Spotted Eagle Ray besides Leinster? That is one of our beaches on radar for next trip.
