cinnamon Bay's review?

Post by parafins »

I posted some time back on my visit to Cinnamon Bay Campground.I also place a review on Tripadvisor. Now,from time to time I check the reviews on that campground and have found they are either very good or very bad, namely the bathrooms. My stay this last May was a good one.Clean bathrooms, great site, and good service-except for the boat rental place.{Maho Bay is the place to go for kyack rentals}Have any of you found the bathrooms to be dirty,or service to slow or bad?I've visited or stayed there as far back as 1994 and found the campground to be clean and the grounds in good condition.Image

I think campground/communal bathrooms are rather subjective in terms of what is acceptable from person-to-person. I love to camp and have a certain expectation level going in that the facilities will not be above a certain level. Others maybe will be disappointed.

We stay there and never found a issue, after all it is a campground not a villa. There is nothing like waking up to the sound of the ocean and being able to go out and touch it without having to pack up the car!! The people have always been very nice, the other groups around are fun never had an issue with that either. Ran into a lady and her husband that have been camping there since it first opened unbelievable stories she had.

We have stayed there 2 times...once in a cottage..and once in a baresite...and always visit when we dont stay there...Its a campground...and of course its not a high end villa...not even a a villa...but I always tell people...if you dont like to camp...then you wouldnt like it...but we have never had any problems..found the staff helpful...and as far as the bathrooms..I think they are clean as a campground bathroom can be...In fact we are looking to go back and stay there this yr... The location is hard to beat...unless you can afford Gibney...we love walking out on the beach at night...or waking up and going out first thing in the morning...:)
