Pre-Trip - 3 days and counting!

Post by ScubaGirl »

On Sunday, Keith and I will deliver our Babies to my folks, then do the 8 hour drive to Boston. We are staying at a friends house over night, catching a 6:30 am flight to STT via Philly.

In looking for a place to park our car for the 2 weeks, I stumbled on a site where you can book parking, hotels, park and fly, park and cruise etc.
For $159.00 you can park for 14days, but for $169.00 you can park and fly, and choose if you want to use the hotel night at the beginning or the end of you trip. I choose the end, because we don't get back to Boston until midnight May 13. The only bad thing is we have to try to find the hotel at 4am, before we fly out, and then catch the hotel shuttle to the airport. I'll lose some sleep over that one!

So, for the first week, we are going to be 7 people on the boat, Caribbean Soul, a 36 ft. cat, from CYOA.

One couple are 65ish, and her two kids, (who are actually older than me) late 40's, and the son's wife. I've never met the son or the wife, that's a little scary to me.

The second week, we are taking my husband's daughter and her husband for a wedding gift/honeymoon. She has been to the Islands with us before, but he never has. I'm really excited for them.

Not sure if I'll be able to do any live up dates, but I will try. We are going to try to hook up with the Friends tour, at Miss Lucy's, and Cal Girl is meeting us at waterlemon on the 9th, for a day of swimming, eating and drinking.

Talk soon! Keep safe!

I hope you have a wonderful time. A boat/villa vacation is something I would like to try.
