I'm also grateful to hear that others share our feelings about not traveling!
We are blessed beyond belief to finally be parents, but with the adoption costs and not being paid for maternity leave, there is no money for travel. Letting 1,000 dollars worth of airfare that we cancelled when T came along, just go to waste because we can't afford the other costs.
This is the first year in forever that we haven't taken some type of trip. We are hoping to do a weekend at the lake later this fall, but I just want a week away somewhere! It's amazing when you are used to it how much you crave it. We know we will travel again some day and we are thankful for all the trips we've taken, but it is hard!
