Has anyone stayed here recently? I thought I read that it needed updating. Thanks

Love the place!!! We stayed there 3 years ago and loved it! It is comphy, super clean, the owners are nice and leave you alone, the pool is super nice with out clorine or salt... (reverse osmosis) There is also a security gate going up the drive, if that matters. The only down side is it is pretty high (but not a bad drive) so views are high up views. Mosquitos were non existant when we were there though, and on the roof top deck, you can see both sides of the island. Cool!!!!!! It is a little old school, but high quality and I am sure it is fine.

We are considering that villa also for a future trip. Would love to stay in that area.

Capn Dan, What was the pool temp like when you were there? I understand the pools in some of the high elevation villas can be pretty chilly (we are looking at a June rental)

We were there for two weeks in 2008 with Ruby and Capt. Dan. The pool temp in June is fabulous, refreshing at 5:00 a.m. and bath water in the p.m. Ionized, no chemicals, soft water and as the owner says, so clean you can drink it. The views and breeze are amazing, never used the air. Wrap around decks on top and bottom levels are spacious and inviting. Widows walk view to BVI's, amazing. Beautiful handcarved teak staircase to widows walk slippery if not in bare feet, ladder and hatch up to walk, just large enough for about 4 people. Construction is first class, lots of care and detail, beautiful landscaping. Furnishings are very nice, lots of local art work and sconces, two levels of huge living areas. Two bedrooms, one up and down, two half baths off up and down living rooms. We were just four, but queen sleeper sofas in both living rooms would accommodate more, roll out cot for extra guest and a downstairs laundry room as big as a bedroom. Upstairs kitchen is a little small in comparison to other large spaces, but for four it was fine. We really enjoyed our stay! :)

Thanks for the feedback. That is a big help. I have kids and they love the pool but it is NOT an issue at 5:00 am for ANY of us  As long as it is warm in the afternoon we are good to go.
